Performing: Saturday, Aug. 7 - 2:30 - 3pm at Pine Street
A locally-based original band that dances the line of many genres, combining elements of psychedelic blues-rock, funk, soul, and americana, lead by singer/writer Lady Malory. Raw, rich and vulnerable vocals are backed by rhythmic & melodic bass (Giulio Manfredonia), drums (Matt Fox), and paired with intricate, powerful lead guitar solos (Alex Pashoian) including some improvisation, creating a high energy, uplifting sound that captures and expresses layers of emotions.
Their performances display a wide range of sounds from downright funky to engaging, heartfelt serenades. Certain elements of their music have been described as relatable to artists such as The Tedeschi Trucks Band, Bonnie Raitt, Lucinda Williams, Linda Perry, Jefferson Airplane, and Tom Petty. Some of their musical influences come from artists such as the Grateful Dead, Santana, James Brown, Melissa Etheridge, and many more.
Lady Malory’s debut EP can be found on Spotify, iTunes, and most other platforms.
